ALECIA BETH MOORE

 

Alecia Beth Moore, born September 8th 1979. She grew up in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. At an early age she started to perform in clubs. When she was 16 she joined the group "Choice", a girl group. The group even recorded a song which was sent to LaFace Records. LA Reid heard the song and fell in love with Alecia's voice. So he told her she had to choose, go solo, or quit. She decided to go solo and became "P!NK", and released her first single in 2000. She wasn't really happy with her first album and made a huge genre/style change when she released her second album. 

 

 

In 2001, Alecia met Carey Hart athe the X-Games, in 2005 she proposed to him, and finally they married in 2006. In 2010 Alecia and Carey announced that they were expecting their first child. 2nd Of June, 2011 Willow Sage Hart was born. 

 

Alecia isn't only a singer and a great performer, she also did some acting in different movies. Her first acting role was for the movie Catacombs. Later, she also got roles for Happy Feet 2, and Thanks For Sharing. Next to acting she also became a COVERGIRL model.

 

Next to being "P!NK" she also made an album with Dallas Green. The duo is called You+Me and came with the album RoseAve. in september 2014.

 

 

She also wants to help to change the world in a positive way. Alecia is a huge supporter of various charities including Ronald McDonald's House, Make A Wish Foundation, PETA, Autism Speaks, Human Rights, Campaign and No Kid Hungry.
